There are a few things people quickly realize about me, I love to dance and that's where I'm usually found unless I'm booked ahead by someone. It tends to be my default. I enjoy cooking/baking for people. I play tetris and read comic books lots.

I enjoy learning but hate studying. Somehow when I have something assigned to me I often lose interest in the subject matter, but I will spend an entire afternoon reading about something (anything!) else.

I love travel and I'm terribly curious about almost everything. I've traveled a little in Europe and the UK and would love to do so again. I can't say I always enjoyed showering with my flip flops on, but I really miss the yogurt from Europe.

I like to read, I love having good, serious conversations about utterly stupid (or ingenious) topics. I really love History; I mean, I can watch documentaries about the type of grains used by farmers during the middle ages or the type of mortar used in Ancient Greece and be interested--I don't expect YOU to be interested however, so you're safe from me on that front.

I'm shy,but most people can't tell because it appears only occasionally.

I graduated from York U with a Double major in History/English and a BEd. Which means I'm qualified to teach, but I currently work at a Community Centre. So nothing yet. I'm also working on my driver's licence--shh don't make fun of me.

I'm going to substitute "really good at" for "really enjoys doing" because that's more interesting anyways.

Art, especially drawing, bead work, and painting, reading, making up nonsense poetry on the spot, arguing/debating/being the devils advocate, sitting in a shady spot on a sunny day watching people go by, cooking, comic book shopping, and dreaming

I like to make bento box lunches, by which I mean carefully laid out lunches that sometimes include carrots cut to look like stars or eggs shaped like hearts. I have moulds to shape hard boiled eggs--honest I really do.

I also love Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Charleston and I can be found at swing dance classes or social dances in Toronto at least twice a week.

Usually people comment on my eyes, they're blue and this seems to be noteworthy. Or my smile, I've gotten that before. I'm also very fidgety when I first meet people sometimes.

(A)I read almost any genre, currently on a Sci Fi and Fantasy kick because I am trawling through a friend's immense library; Anne of Green Gables; The Time Travellers Wife; Sabriel; Shakespearian Comedies (particularly Midsummer Night's Dream); Pride and Prejudice; Oscar Wilde; John Keats, because he understands about grapes you know; manga (reading Fruits Basket, GTO, Hana Kimi and Beck atm.); I also liked the Harry Potter series, but don't tell anyone.

(B) When Harry Met Sally, Shawshank Redemption, Garden State, Gidget goes Hawaiian, Goonies,16 Candles, Pretty in Pink, Sin City, Stand By Me, Amelie, The Labyrinth, Little Miss Sunshine, Various and Assorted Anime. Also a fan of the James Burke series Connections and The Day the Universe Changed.

(C)Music (Particularly Rock, Punk, 50s-60s rock n roll and motown, Pre-War Jazz and Ragtime, New Age, and a lot of 80s pop and synth pop). Some artists I like in no particular order (chronological or otherwise): the Yardbirds, the Beatles, Duran Duran, Count Basie, Daft Punk, the Cranberries, Great Big Sea, the Ronettes, the Drifters, the Boswell Sisters, the Police, Garbage, Blondie, Ella Fitzgerald and lots of other stuff too.

(D)Fruit just when it is perfectly ripe..especially cantaloupes or strawberries, cheesecake, mashed potatoes. That is a pretty strange collection isn't it? I don't eat them all at once, at least not the mashed potatoes with any of the others. In the food column under potentially annoying--I'm gluten intolerant but don't hold that against me.

A good book, friends, something to daydream about, a map, a subway token, and music.

Apparently I also cannot do without ellipses, I am trying to slowly wean myself but you will still find some (...) in this profile. I cannot help it, I'm compelled by my need to leave something unsaid.

The future, including the remotest possibilities of what could happen next...in other dimensions.

Oh or what to wear tomorrow. I spend inordinate amounts of time thinking about that even when I usually settle on Jeans and a sweater(or a seasonally appropriate alternative).

Sleeping...or out dancing...one of the two. Though I work a stupidly long shift most Fridays, I'm more often out on Saturday night or Wednesday.

That I am uncomfortable about divulging private information to the population of ok cupid--but if you ask nicely, I'm usually an open book =P.
