Well, it's a new year so time for a new "About me".

Yeah, right.

So I'm an annoyingly complex mid-twenties San Diego native who works full time and is studying within her industry (gems). I have an add assortment of hobbies that can be as difficult to explain as my tastes. Yes, I am that girl who listens to Evanescence when in a bad mood, but I've also seen Gorgoroth live (and gone to Ozzfest twice). Yes, I have 5 tattoos but haven't gotten a bunch of piercings because of the professional atmosphere I tend to work in. Yes, I am the girl who bakes cookies for work for random reasons but I am also the girl who looks at her leaking sink and has a good idea of how to fix it. I'm girly enough that evening makeup (not the eveyday stuff) takes 20-30 minutes but not girly enough to blowdry my hair. When it comes to alcohol, I tend to face any challenge. Actually, that's pretty true of life in general.

I work full time in a clerical/administrative job that takes more that a "10 words or less" description but I don't like to discuss with everyone. So, ask me and I may explain it.

As for the more personal part of my life, I live with 3 roommates and my adorable kitten. Oh, and one of my roommates is on this site. If you try hitting on both of us, it could get very interesting. And probably not in a way you like.

Cooking, making people laugh, drinking beer (hey, that is a talent for a girl), randomly finding people I haven't seen in years, finding out random people I meet already know my friends, being random, telling the blunt honest truth.

It really depends. Sometimes my smile, sometimes my eyes, and sometimes it's my personality. Oh, and my boobs. Honestly. People who run into my mother in bars discuss them with her. No joke.

Book: Pretty much anything by Jacqueline Carey, the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn, David Eddings, some of Laurell K. Hamilton's books, Stephenie Meyer, Juliet Marillier, Emma Holly, Harry Potter, I kind of like George R.R. Martin, but his stuff is very depressing. I like the hero to win in the end.

Movies: Dangerous Beauty, Enchanted, Boondock Saints, Star Wars, John Tucker Must Die, French Kiss, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, A Good Year, Under the Tuscan Sun, Labyrinth, Princess Bride, The Dark Crystal, Dark Knight, Legend, V for Vendetta, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Knocked Up, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Serenity, Twilight, Kevin Smith movies, Benicio del Toro movies, pretty much anything based on a Neil Gaiman novel

Music: Way too many artists/songs to list. A bit of almost everything...rock, metal, industrial, punk, pop, new age, alternative...I love music. I'm discovering a fondness for bands like Eluveitie, Amon Amarth, Keep of Kalessin, Nightwish, older Lacuna Coil....stuff where the bass and guitar get your blood flowing in a whole new way. I also have friend who does a goth/darkwave radio show in North County who loves introducing me to new goth music, so I've learned about groups like Katatonia, Per Somnia, and Soul Driver.

Food: depends on my mood, I love to cook, and am generally up for exploring or trying new things.

Books, music, sex, some sort of non-drug related escape, laughter, someone to cook for

The future, sex, friends...my mind wanders at times and I rarely keep track of all the places it goes.

Hanging out with friends at my favorite pub or watching a random movie.

I once accidentally went out with some who was married. I found out when his wife called me. She was not very nice.
