Single for about 3 months now (BTW the split was mutual and
drama-free and he is still one of my best friends for life) and
looking to go out and have fun, make new friends and be flirty
& try new stuff in the City as I finish figuring out what I
really want in a partner.
I'm DEFINITELY looking to make new
friends, whatever else happens...so if
you think I sound cool but just not to date (or not attracted to my
type) I am looking to practice my
wing-woman skills too. And you know
how much more desirable a guy gets when he's out with a woman...

But back to the question. I was supposed to be writing about me. I
don't like doing this, if you ask me it's as much fun as
resume-writing (which is not at all), and hard to know what to
write. I sometimes act very shy, and sometimes I am outrageously
forward and daring. Tequila sometimes brings out the second one,
but you never can tell. I make homemade chicken soup for my friends
when they are sick and give
massages when they are tense or feeling
down. I
drink
socially, enjoy an occasional
cigar (a habit I picked up living in the
South for a few years), I
paint,
sculpt, make
costumes for
burning man,
snowboard,
read a lot and love
movie nights.
I am not ready to be in an exclusive relationship again just yet,
but ultimately that is what I want. So that's why I didn't check
the "long-term relationship" box, even though I am open to it. I
figure sometime in the next 2-4 months I'll be there (and since you
have no idea WHEN I am writing this, that means between March &
May 2009).
Until then I'm up for dating and making new friends. Don't be
afraid to tell me you "just want to be friends." There is no such
thing as "just" friends, friends make the world go 'round! OKC is
cool, but I think I'm just as likely to meet the love of my life
through the introduction of a friend.

I am taking the winter off to
snowboard in
Tahoe, though I'll probably be down in the
City quite a bit too. First tracks, yay! I've always wanted to take
a winter to do this and I JUST got my ski lease set up and my
Heavenly Season pass is on it's way!!
I never thought being laid off could be fun, but it turns out that
if you have a smart head on your shoulders and practice financial
responsibility (aka, have put money way for a rainy day), it's
actually not so bad...
So, in short, I am: taking a break from the 9-5 thing, taking it
easy and waiting for the economy to not suck quite so much.
Also, of course, thinking of what I want to do next...

LOL! I don't know!
No, wait, that's not totally true. Ass-men notice my butt, I
guess...I mean, the first thing you notice is looks, right?
People notice my hair a lot too - I get a lot of complements on it
from everybody, male & female. It's long and red.

Outsmarting western doctors. Give me some natural stuff (that
actually works) over some expensive, side-effect-laden RX
anyday!
What I want to do next...healing of some kind? Nanny/personal
assistant? Professional charmer? (just kidding...unless you have a
job opening for that! lol!)

A: Hanging out with friends or out on a date.
B: Making something cool that I just can't put down.
C: Looking for a sidekick to take over the world with. No,
seriously.

...is that I can be very private?
Okay, okay, one little thing (not too private)...I am something of
a sucker for goatees.

...you want to
...you are funny (I love to laugh!)
...you are going to be boarding in Tahoe this winter
...you consider non-monogamy to be a stage of dating when you're
just not serious about anybody yet (you know, the stage BEFORE you
have the "let's be exclusive" conversation?) and not a long-term
lifestyle preference
