I'm a technomad - or geeky gypsy, if you prefer. My house is uber cute, small, solar powered and has wheels. My partner and I travel around full time, meeting cool people, seeing great things, attending fun events, experiencing all that life can be, following nomadic serendipity and picking up random work projects as we adventure around to afford it all.

I attended Burning Man for the first time in 2007, and felt immediately at home. I was part of hosting a theme camp for fellow nomadic-souls in 2008, and it was a great success.

I'm a tech geek with an entrepreneurial spirit doing various forms of consulting and software development. I've been running various companies since I was quite young, and haven't held a 'real job' since 1994. I work on my own schedule, on projects that inspire me, and usually naked and/or from remote locations.

I've been diagnosed as an INFJ. I've been purposely pushing beyond my default comfort zones to learn more about myself and to grow. I'm far more interested in your type than your sign.

I've also been an activist and organizer for some of the alternative choices I've made in my own life (polyamory, childfree by choice, etc.).

In May 2007, I purged a good deal of my possessions, sold my house and hit the road with my partner radven. We just upgraded to a custom built 17' Oliver Fiberglass Travel Trailer, much better suited for two technomads.

Current Travel Update:

We spent the month of October in rural Nevada running an Obama field office, and then landed a fun work project in the San Francisco area.

At present time, we're anticipating we'll be in the Bay Area through early March, when we're presenting on Technomadism at the O'Reilly eTech Conference. Looking forward to being in one spot for a while, and immersing ourselves in community and meeting new friends (this is where YOU come in).

Some of the places we already frequent include Central Florida, Bay Area of California, Austin, St. Louis, Chicago, Philadelphia and Central Oregon - always looking to have excuses to add to this list or make stops inbetween.

Being versatile and adaptable. Organizing things. Losing pens. Navigating and finding amazing scenic routes. Preparing yummy one pot meals in unique locations. Mixing drinks. Hand Jobs. Cuddling. Smooching.

Tends to be my naturally curly red hair, my blue eyes, the fire I'm spinning around me or my cleavage.

I really suck at choosing favorites and have constructed a life where I don't have to make these silly choices. If I had a single favorite of anything, it would have to be 'Yes!'. I love variety in general, I embrace the power of and; and if a decision is needed, will usually choose the thing I haven't tried yet.

So.. my best stab at this:

(a) Usually non-fiction about personality, philosophy, sociology, travel, transhumanism, conscious living/life-by-design, sexuality or relationships, and perhaps an occasional sci-fi book.

(b) Before Sunrise & Before Sunset, Phantom of the Opera (all versions), Mindwalk, Run Lola Run, Xanadu, Orgazmo, LOTR Trilogy, Matrix, Princess Bride, Serenity, Yentl, Hunt for Red October, etc, etc. I actually enjoy watching TV series on DVD quite a bit: Firefly, Babylon 5, Six Feet Under, Invader Zim, Queer as Folk, Battlestar Galactica, Weeds, Dexter, Heros, Grey's Anatomy, Buffy, etc.

(c) I seem to have no capacity for remembering artists, songs, lyrics, or music trivia. I love to dance (sometimes with fire) to good and unique beats. Reggae, electronica, blues, industrial, goth, thrash, broadway-style musicals, trance, upbeat, down tempo, jazz, big band, (I mentioned I suck at choosing favorites, right?) arabic, opera, blues, sca, jazz, classic rock, etc..

(d) Tex-Mex, Indian, Ethiopian, Thai, Sushi and Italian are some of my favorites. I don't eat mammal (if you can shave it, I don't eat it). I also enjoy red wine, single malt scotch and fruity tropical drinks.

I've been actively polyamorous since 1992 and am quite "out" about it, and while I embrace the concept of openly and honestly emotionally loving more than one person at a time, I'm just not finding myself overly interested in new big romantic relationships at current time. But you never know what life may bring.

I'm blessed with a wonderfully fulfilling committed primary life partnership and we do hold intentions of actively involving other romantic relationships . For now, I'm mostly open to friends, tour guides, chat buddies and have a fluctuating desire for flirty/snuggly/smoochy and emotionally rich ambigusweetie level relationships. This fits our traveling lifestyle best.

Oh, and about the bi/straight thing. I never know what to put. My sexual attractions are actually rather fluid, I don't see gender as a binary trait and I dislike confining myself to a label.
